It all began as a pre-teen, during my school days. As a part of Art & Craft classes, I stepped into the amazing world of candle making. My first experience was awe-inspiring and there has been no looking back since then.

What started as an intrigue, altered into a hobby. With passage of time, it became more than that. It was a passion and that is how Crafter’s Cottage 7 shaped up. The profound experience of my first candle is still remains the same, when I work on creating another one.

After candles, came the chocolates. To give them company the soaps, fridge magnets, tea coasters and trays arrived. The sheer joy of creating these makes me excited like a small child inside a toy shop or a candy store. The excitement is too immense; to see them take the beautiful shapes, adorn the designs and colours and spring to life and spread happiness.

The journey has been constant. Because if you do not enjoy the journey, you can never reach the destination. Crafter’s Cottage 7 also is a home of fabrics with the signature block prints. Be it curtains, stoles, cushion covers. The timeless classic Mekhala Sadors and sarees infused in block prints are on the anvil.

All the produce of Crafter’s Cottage 7 is handmade and customized. Extreme care is taken in every detail – be it the material, the ingredients added and the finish. A Crafter’s Cottage 7 product is made with a dash of love to remain with you for a lifetime. Like a soul mate who never gives up on you. Be it a candle, soap or chocolates or the fabrics, Crafter’s Cottage 7, nurture them as its own babies. With a heavy lump on the throat a tear is shed, everytime one of them is off the shelves at our store.
